IR 6000 Knee Splint

   The knee splint is used as a convenient alternative to a plaster cast after injuries and operations on the knee joint. The orthosis has no hinges to set the range of motion, it provides reliable immobilization of the knee joint.

  The splint is made of a three-layer material: the inner material is cotton, it does not irritate the skin, does not cause allergic reactions; inner layer – foam, perfectly passes air and absorbs excess moisture; outside – wear-resistant material velor. This combination of materials ensures comfort even during prolonged use. And special silicone bands prevent the orthosis from slipping off the leg.

   For complete immobilization of the knee joint, the splint has four metal splints: two side splints and two back splints. The rear tires are slightly bent (to fix the knee in the correct physiological position).

  The three-piece fit adjustment system allows the orthosis to be adapted to any user's needs.

   There are special elastic straps on the inner component that help to fix the structure on the leg and ensure the correct position while other straps are not covered. Strong straps at the top and bottom help secure the splint.
