Reinforced Functional Knee Orthosis with OCR200 Limiter
OCR200 - a dynamic functional orthosis for stabilizing the ligamentous apparatus of the knee joint is a kind of external frame that replaces the impaired function of the knee joint. The base of the orthosis includes a rigid reinforced frame made of durable aluminum alloy. The top of the frame points forward and the bottom of the frame points back. Six straps fix the orthosis on the leg and create their directional pressure. This combination of frame and belts creates the most stabilizing effect, prevents pathological movements in the joint, displacement of the femur and tibia, and ligament injuries.
Inside, there is an anti-slip soft lining, which ensures comfortable use of the orthosis.
The side plates are interconnected by a dynamic polycentric hinge with a "flexion-extension-LOCK" system. Removable metal wedges are used in the lock to adjust the range of flexion and extension angles.
Flex adjustment Extension adjustment
FEATURES:
heavy duty reinforced base resistant to mechanical damage;
4-point fixation system;
polycentric hinge with flexion/extension adjustment;
Micro-Velcro fixation straps allow you to adjust the degree of fit of the orthosis to the leg;
protective straps prevent direct skin contact with strap material;
materials on each segment on the inside of the orthosis do not cause allergic reactions and skin irritation;
There are air-filled pads in the joint area for maximum comfort and adaptation.
EFFECT:
stabilizes the knee joint;
ensures physiologically correct movement in the knee joint;
controlling instability and adjusting flexion/extension range;
prevents hyperextension;
restores joint function step by step;
relieves pressure from the ligamentous apparatus;
prevents the tibia from moving forward;
minimizes the risk of injury.
PURPOSE:
knee joint injuries;
violation of the functions of the cruciate and lateral ligaments of the knee joint (instability, ruptures and sprains);
rehabilitation in the pre- and postoperative period (recovery period after ligament reconstruction);
gradual restoration of the functions of the knee joint after surgical interventions and long-term immobilization (after removal of plaster casts);
prophylactic/bilateral use in highly active lifestyles;
prevention of cruciate and lateral ligament injuries during active, extreme sports (non-contact) with emergency loads on the knee joint.
