IR-5100 Knee Splint 

The knee splint is used as a comfortable alternative to a cast after knee injuries and surgeries. The orthosis has no hinges to set the range of motion, but it provides reliable immobilization and fixation of the knee joint.

The splint is made of a three-layer material, inside is a cotton coating that does not irritate the skin and does not cause allergic reactions; middle layer – foam, it perfectly passes air and absorbs excess moisture; outside wear-resistant material - nylon. This combination of materials ensures comfort even during prolonged use. And special silicone bands prevent the orthosis from slipping off the leg.

For complete immobilization of the knee joint, the splint has four metal splints: two side and two back. The rear tires are slightly bent (to fix the knee in the correct physiological position). Tires can be easily removed if necessary.

Three-piece fit adjustment system allows the orthosis to be adapted to the user.

The inner component has special elastic straps to help keep the structure in place and ensure it stays in the correct position while other straps are not obstructed. Strong straps at the top and bottom help secure the splint.

•  injuries and damage (tear, rupture) of the ligaments in the knee joint of a complex degree;

•  bone and cartilage fractures;

•  severe knee sprains.
